Kate appeared twice at the famed Newport Folk Festival on Aug 1-3, 2008. She opened for music legend Brian Wilson at their gala kickoff concert and on Sunday played to a very enthusiastic crowd at the main Fort Adams festival site, along with Jimmy Buffett, Levon Helm and many other great musicians. On June 24th, 2008 there were some very special guests and a GREAT time at Kate's Metropolitan Room show in NYC. Eddie Brigati, David Brigati and Gene Cornish of THE RASCALS sat in, along with uber-musician and Conan show star Jimmy Vivino. Click here to see the video of 2 of their songs.
